O. B.: June 9th. ★ H E I G H T: 5 feet and 10 inches. ★ W E I G H T: 127 lbs. ★ A P P E A R A N C E: The most noticable of Itachi's attributes starts off with his facial features. The distinctive tear troughs that that line his face give him the appearance of someone older than what he actually is. Though garnering the reputation as a brutal murderer, Itachi has the look of an youthful, intelligent being. His black flowing hair is tied into a ponytail, with two bangs that frame his face hanging down over his forehead. Perhaps his most alarming feature would be the gaze that he is able to convey through his eyes. Usually always in the active red Sharingan state, Itachi poses an intimidating and fearful use of his eyes, to which most people who know him try to avert. His attire consists of a casual slacks and a tunic, with a layered fishnetting underneath. Over this, he adorns the black Akatsuki cloak, with a patching of red clouds stitched through-out. While he is not very muscular, Itachi has a toned muscle capacity through his body. Thin; not unhealthy. Sporting the Konohagakure headband on his forehead, it is striked out to signify his betrayal. Showing people only what he wants them to see, while maintaining a stern and aloof demeanour, allows him to keep his true personality at bay. Itachi poses himself as a calm and collected murderer, one without the need to atone for his sins, or even become secluded in a wash of guilt. Emotionless, Itachi is able to control his feelings, without revealing too much about his opinions or what he is thinking. In terms of combat and his ability, Itachi is a born pacifist. He would much rather avoid a conflict that succumb to committing to a fight, which is why most of his run-ins are usually resolved through genjutsu to disable the opponent. There is no need for him to kill, as he has goals of his own he must accomplish. Despite his obvious strength, Itachi will never taunt nor brag about his own skills. Despite all of these cold traits of Itachi, he actually holds a close friendship with his partner Hoshigaki Kisame. They both have a mutual respect for each other and despite Kisame's fighting tendancies, Itachi can see that there are more similarities to himself and Kisame than he likes to let on to. Even Itachi and his current situation, he needs some sort of friend that he can rely on. At the end of the day, Itachi is willing to shoulder the blame for murdering the entire Uchiha clan for the preservation of the village he loves and the life of his younger brother. Sasuke is his legacy and he will fiercely protect him until the moment has come for his younger brother to finally take his life and move on from the criminal world he has been drawn into. ★ L I K E S: ♥ Visiting traditional cafés ★ D I S L I K E S: ✗ War ★ E T C E T E R A: Uchiha Itachi was born into the Uchiha clan, praised by his clan as a prodigy and genius, as well as being dubbed the "True Heir of the Sharingan" for his mastery of the doujutsu. Subsequently, he had mastered the Sharingan by age eight and far outshone his classmates, as well as the majority of his clan. While Itachi possessed a remarkable amount of skill and raw talent, very few understood his motives and directions. His father was full of pride and praise for his son, who was the gem of the Uchiha clan. Itachi however, did not pay any attention to his fathers praise and instead, focused on giving a rather neglected Sasuke the affection he deserved. Given that Itachi was ANBU Captain by age thirteen, he knew the inner workings of the village by heart. His father attempted to take advantage of this, asking of Itachi to spy on Konohagakure within ANBU, so that they may be prepared for their future plans. Itachi, intolerant of the Uchiha's legacy of causing disruption, decided to act as a double agent against the will of his clan and feed information to the Third Hokage. Even Itachi could not escape that the Uchiha were onto his plot. Almost an overnight affair, Itachi had changed. This came under information regarding the death of Uchiha Shisui, who was tasked to keep tabs on Itachi to make sure he was loyal to the clan. Shisui was Itachi's best friend, who was also concerned that the Uchiha would not back down in their planned coup. Danzo had stole Shisui's eye in order to prevent him interfering, so Shisui entrusted Itachi with his remaining eye and instructed him to protect the village and the Uchiha name. This caused a fall-out between Itachi and his clan-mates, as they had all believed that Itachi killed Shisui and forged a suicide note. Eventually, the Hokage and Konoha council, which included Shimura Danzo insisted that the entire Uchiha clan be wiped out in order to preserve the village and peace within it. Reluctantly, Itachi would follow through with this order. Before this however, he would come across a man who posed as Uchiha Madara. His plan was to reignite war in Konoha, wanting to gain revenge against the village for his former exile. Itachi persuaded Madara to leave Konoha be, in exchange for wiping out the entire Uchiha clan. That fateful night, Itachi murdered the entire clan. His friends, family, lover, parents. When Sasuke returned later that night after training, Itachi confronted him in front of the dead bodies of his parents. It was then Itachi trapped him in a Tsukuyomi, to force Sasuke to watch the death of their parents over and over again. Itachi purposley posed as a merciless villain in order to light a fire within Sasuke, who would seek vengence and in turn, restore the Uchiha name. Knowing full well the status that he now held, Itachi became a traitor of the village. Coy enough to know that Konoha would still want rid of Sasuke, it was up to Itachi to plead with the Third Hokage to protect his younger brother. After this, he confronted Danzo and warned him not to hurt Sasuke, or he would reveal everything he knew about Konoha to enemy nations. When all was said and done, Itachi fled Konoha. When rumours of Akatsuki's existence popped up, Itachi went out of his way to join them in order to keep an eye on the organisation. It was then that he first met Orochimaru and knew of his intention to steal the Sharingan, which he could not do, as Itachi had trapped him in a genjutsu and disabled his arm. After this, Orochimaru had fled. It was in Akatsuki that he met Hoshigaki Kisame, who attempted to intimidate Itachi at first, though they both soon developed an understanding with each other. Itachi was also involved in the recruitment of Deidara, whom he held a stretched rivalry with ever since beating him using only genjutsu. After the death of the Third Hokage, Itachi and Kisame travelled to Konoha in order to capture Uzumaki Naruto and the Kyuubi within him. Itachi however, played this off as a warning to Konoha and Danzo, that he was still alive and Sasuke was not to be harmed. After scoping out the area, Itachi and Kisame were both confronted by Yuhi Kurenai and Sarutobi Asuma. They both were no match for the Akatsuki duo, even with the help of Hatake Kakashi. Soon enough, they had attracted the attention of Might Guy, who informed the two that ANBU knew of their presence. Noting this, Itachi suggested he and Kisame retreat, as to avoid a miniature war on the door step of Konoha. Afterwards, Itachi and Kisame confronted Naruto in a near-by hotel, after luring the Sannin Jiraiya away with a hypnotised woman. Moments from capturing him, Itachi was interrupted by his younger brother, whom he once again incapacitated with the use of Tsukuyomi. The timely arrival of Jiraiya forced Itachi and Kisame to flee, with Itachi's use of Amaterasu providing a barley narrow escape. Two and a half years later, Itachi volunteered to distract a group of Konoha ninja who were trying to make it to Gaara. While under a clone technique, meaning Itachi was only using a portion of his strength, he managed to fend off the squad for some time until he was killed by Naruto's Rasengan. Sparing enough time to seal the tailed beast, Itachi was also involved in sealing the two-tailed beast before he continued planning for his own demise to Sasuke.
