Shining a Stone

[Onoki]

"Your doing it wrong, Counter Clockwise!" Yelled Onoki at the many who were cleaning the villages Stone monument. Onoki sat down for a bit staring at the scene before him. He was levitating using his flying technique to soar around the circle and examine the job people were doing. Currently everyone was flying due to the fact that Onoki touched them and enabled them to fly to make cleaning the stone easier. It brought memories back to his face when Onoki remembered that one day where he was cleaning the stone. Yes, him and the first Tsuchikage. Onoki gave a slight laugh and then thought "Cheapskates." Though the guy might of been the most intellegent man to ever walk in Iwagakure. Onoki might of been one of the few people in Iwagakure who knew the true meaning of the stone and for that anyone who can grasp the little concept of what the meaning of the stone was would be praised by Onoki.

Onoki stared at the rock and knew it was the will of stone of Iwagakure. It was what made him get up on thos morning where he honestly couldn't or should ahve not took a mission. It was what made him completely clean this thing a lone. Now it seemed like the men were about finished cleaning it and Onoki began to fly around it looking at the way things were. He looked at one spot and pointed at a guy "You, young one... Give me your rag !" The guy flew to Onoki and brought him the rag and Onoki cleaned a somewhat missed spot on the monument then flew up to the stone staring at it nicely and then putting the rag in the water. He brought it back up and slowly began to wipe around the stone making it look nice and shiny and finally placing it back."And thats how you do it, you guys should be ashsamed that you can't keep up with an old man like me." Onoki said as he bent down folding the rag finallyt o hear his back give a few cracks and he gave a light screamed "Ahh.. Son of a...". He then laid down watching as all the men left maybe exhausted from helping clean the monument a long with the stone. Onoki lifted his body sitting on the edge of the monument turning hid head to look at the stone with his back in pain.

[Gaara]

Iwagakure was definitely not Gaara's type of village. He would not want to live here. The main reason being it was way too cold.

Living in the middle of the desert all his life, Gaara had never experienced any cold weather. Or, God forbid, snow. The closest thing Gaara had experienced to snow was his sand. And other than that, there was nothing flying in the air. The coldest place Gaara had ever visited was Konoha, which was only a bit chilly in the night. Even then, that chill had been torturing him, much more gruesomely than the pain Gaara had inflicted on other shinobi. Anyway, Gaara had to do his job then get the hell out of this village as soon as possible.

Gaara spotted a couple people flying around, so surely the Tsuchikage was nearby. Before long, the people were back on the ground and walking away, probably back to their families, looking exhausted. The Kazekage headed in the direction they came from, and sure enough the old Tsuchikage was staring at the monument and rubbing his back.

"Tsuchikage! I'm Gaara, the Kazekage of Sunagakure.", Gaara shouted up to him. He had decided to journey to Iwagakure to find out more about Sorugakure. If there was anyone of the five Kages that would know anything about them, it would be the Tsuchikage, being the oldest and wisest Kage. Gaara needed this information, so he could start figuring out ways to keep them away from taking away the current peace in his village.

If the Tsuchikage didn't know anything, Gaara was afraid he might have to take desperate measures, like putting up a second wall of sand around his village, or preventing people from going in and out of Suna. Anything to protect his village and his people. Even if it meant going to Sorugakure to investigate himself. He couldn't let those people destroy his village.
