Despite all the recent sadness surrounding Konoha the village always found its way to the light. Though the death of Asuma effected everyone mostly Shikamaru, Choji, Ino, and Kurenai more. He still was effected by the death of one of his friends he had fought alongside. Kakashi had been laying in his bed for about an hour now not wanting to get up, but he had things to do today. He slowly made his way out of the comfy bed. After changing into a new set of clothes he walked over to Mr. Ukki his plant he picked up a cup of water and poured it into the nice rich soil, after he was done doing this he walked to the door of his apartment and leaving the small apartment. Not like he needed a giant apartment. Besides he did not have that much stuff to fill a bigger apartment. Once out of the apartment complex he looked up at the sky noticing the dark sky and the large grey clouds. Though his mask raised slightly indicating a smile under the mask.
"Hm seems its going to rain" Calamity emitted from his tone as he looked up at the overcast. It seemed like the gods understood what was happening to the village. Kakashi moved around with his usual pace through the village. He had decided that he would pay a visit to the memorial stone where the name of his childhood friend Obito and anyone else he has lost engraved upon it. This usually had caused him to be late to training sessions or missions. But as of today there were no training sessions or anything planned. Which was a relief as he had not been to the memorial in a couple of days. He looked up only to see the flower shop owned by the Inoichi and his family. He now scavenged his pockets for money pulling out about twenty yen enough to buy a couple of flowers. He looked at it for a bit but it was the thought that counted. He opened the door and bought a couple of flowers from the person at the register not recognizing them though maybe it was a cousin of Ino or something.
"Thank you miss." He said to the women behind the counter before walking out and now finally on his way to the memorial stone. He was sure Kurenai would appreciate the flowers as they were just not for Obito or any of his other friends that had fallen in battle. They were now for Asuma as well now, but he knew that somewhere Asuma was watching down on the village making sure everyone was safe. As he approached the memorial stone he smiled and set them down against the stone. Starring at it as he began to think on his past mistakes but he could not sit here all day thinking about the past. He slowly slumped his body down by the stone pulling out Icha Icha Tatics. He slowly opened it up to read.
Kakashi had not been able to read his favorite book in a while due to all the missions he had been getting sent on. As he sat there reading the sky began to boom and light up from the thunder and lightning. He kind of wanted it to not rain but he knew it would no matter how much he wished it not to. Though he kind of wished he had brought an umbrella as the angels began to weep for loss Konoha has had to face. He shoved the book inside his vest letting a sigh escape his mouth. It wasn't like he hated the rain it kind of felt good. He tilted his head back to let the rain fall on his face. The rain was only just a sprinkle though the potential for a full on thunderstorm was possible, but for now he wanted to enjoy the rain for the mean time.
