Kyousuke isn't always the most happiest of campers. That isn't to say that he is not friendly but he isn't all too happy go lucky about life. Kyousuke isn't afraid to tell you how it is. He's very honest but due to this, he's often blunt but he is still very much tactful and knows what to say in certain situations. One thing about Kyousuke is that he is very loyal and is often protective of those he considers his friends. While he has some sense of honor, often times, Kyousuke is quite the pragmist and will go to extreme lengths to get certain things done. Around Kumogakure, the Ichihara's were known for being masters of the manipulation of Lightning in various ways. Being in such a prestigious clan meant high expectations at a young age. Naturally the Ichihara clan had at least one "star" and Kyousuke was expected to be that one being the first male of the new generation. Sadly this grew to not be the case. At the age of 3, Kyousuke grew to have rather exceptional reading skills. While it all really started with simple books, at the age of five he was reading and understanding things faster than one could actually anticipate. That was a turning point in his life. Despite being unable to tap into his kekkai genkai like his siblings, he showed that intelligence could probably make up for his lack of ability. Of course while his father was rough with him and his mother was caring, they were still very much concerned that their son may never be able to tap into his full potential. If they only knew that reading would be his gateway into a bright future. //Strategically Shocking [Stage 2] At the age of 6 with his reading skills far beyond that of a normal child, Kyousuke was often given tasks that required the use of the mind and physical ability. While his physical ability was average for those around his age, his aptitude for strategically assessing a situation was quite high. Not only that but he showed to have a large interest in the field of medicine which while it wasn't atypical for the Ichihara family who were often known to become ANBU, it was a welcome change to the tradition. During this same time span, Kyousuke was admitted into the Kumogaukre academy where he excelled in his studies but was only average physically and above average when it came on to controlling his chakra. While a lot of people were impressed by his strategic ability, there was one girl who knew there was more to him than just that. Tachibana Asuka. While she was a year younger than him, she was probably the best friend that he could ever ask for, and also his GREATEST annoyance. At the age of 7 and one year already done in the academy, Kyousuke met this ever energetic girl who was smarter than she looked. While she wasn't on the same level as Kyousuke, she was pretty close. Due to Asuka and her "brilliance", she went as far as to given Kyousuke the nickname of Kyon by flipping the "u" in his original name. She said it was fitting since the origins of that nickname typically refer to cynics, something that Kyousuke ended up being. With Asuka and others by his side, Kyousuke's academy days were relatively enjoyable though he bared the named of the un-prodigious son. Eventually the boy would graduate at the age 10. Unlike most Genin, Kyousuke opted out of joining a three man squad and instead began training in the medical arts as well as honing his elemental ninjustu. //From Past To Present[ [Stage 3] As time moved on, Kyousuke stayed focused on his medical studies. He was very much dedicated to his work and he found he actually enjoyed helping people regardless of the negative things that came from his mouth. During this time, with his family naturally being adept with the Lightning release, Kyousuke found very little trouble with learning electric based justu. He also took time out to learn two other releases but is not as adept with them as he is with lightning or medical ninjustu. With years passing by and constant visit to the hospital on his lunch breaks by Asuka, Kyousuke was not only growing as a ninja but as a person as well. At the age of 14, he entered into the chunin exams with Asuka and a friend of his. The group was successful in the first two challanges with Kyousuke taking the role of leader. It was noted that his strategic ability was unlike very few, actually it was said that if there was anyone who could best him, it was Shikamaru Nara of Konohagaukre. That being said, his team eventually did fall short in the last of the challenges but each were promoted to Chunin based on what they each brought to the table. With Kyou, it was great chakra control and great strategic ability. From then on, Kyousuke continued to work as a medical ninja still attempting hone his skills and to finally unlock his full potential as a lightning user.
