The more steel-clad they are, the more effective lightning techniques will be. A fully transformed steel release user would literally become a human lightning rod. In addition to this, powerful wind techniques can and will cut a steel release user's techniques with effectiveness dependent on the strength of the user. ❧ S T A G E S: No stages. Steel Release relies solely on one stage and has a very distinctive appearance when used. The user's skin turns into hard, resilient black steel. These transformations are not limited to the entire body and can be isolated to cover specific limbs. ❧ E F F E C T: Steel Release grants the user the ability manipulate all aspects iron and steel both internally and externally. When performing taijutsu with an internal steel encasement the user is capable of creating powerful gusts of wind through simple kinetic force (the wind is not governed by chakra, and is thus not damaging, just forceful enough to knock an inexperienced ninja off balance), the actual weight of the steel encasement having no ill effects on movement speed. Created to be many times more durable than normal steel and particularly resilient to flames, users of Steel Release are immensely effective against normal kenjutsu and taijutsu techniques (Chakra enhanced techniques, of course, will cause damage relevant to their user's level), and ninja tools (including the explosive tags) tend to just bounce right off with very little effect. For reference, Steel Release is similar to Fudo's earth release rock armor without the excess weight and invisibility. Externally, the user can use minerals and ore hidden in the ground to generate steel monuments for their techniques, again working similar to earth-release techniques. These steel monuments are less durable than the user's internally produced steel and therefore, can be utterly destroyed with a powerful wind technique (Think Roronoa Zoro cutting Daz Bones). The user has no control over the iron in another person's blood, but retains control over their own. Over time they may be able to regrow limbs after losing them, but can only do so outside of battle and over a period of one to two weeks, depending on the severity of the dismemberment. |
